I've had this happen to me frequently, in a variety of situations (new threads, old threads, threads I haven't posted in...) -- the solution, so far with 100% success, has been to remove all cookies related to digital-photography-school.com. If you need instructions, let me know. I don't know *why* this works, but it does.

But yes, this is a recurring problem -- only for some users, so it may be related to what browser or OS you're on. What do you use?

I've had the same problem (and posted about it before too), using Firefox 3 on Ubuntu (Linux).

Typically when it says "page unavailable" it means the server's being hammered to high heaven by page requests. Especially problematic when the DB and web servers are on the same physical device.

Given the amount of traffic we've been receiving I'd say that's the cause.

Also, can we have some pretty server logs to show the traffic over the last 30 days or so?
