Default Home studios

I am looking to start a home studio and am interested in seeing what others have done to make use of the spaces they have available. I think it would be great for everyone to compare setups and perhaps we can get some pics from everyone.

there are a few resources on DIY set ups for studio's. None really show the classic basement or garage set up.

Hope to see some great set ups

I have posted some photos of my home studio on another forums, but because the size is large and i didn't upload those photos on one of those sites recommended here to resize photos, so i think you just wait others to post their own home studios.

2 or 3 lights of some sort, a reflective surface or two and a plain backdrop.

it all depends on how deep your pockets are.

Where did you post them. I'd be interested in seeing it

I have the basics down as far as what is needed. I'm interested mainly in how people have used the space that they have available in a bedroom, basement or garage. I think that pics will serve this best as then we can all ask questions about what we see

On another forums, but i think the rules always stating that it is not allowed to post a forum link on another forum, so i think i can't post the link from another forum here.

Huckster:

What you did not say is what you are photographing. It's one thing to do portraits and quite another to photograph diamond rings.

The studio in the living room of the house I moved from in May 2009.
The setup was for product shots of custom knives.

As for me, I'm a generalist and shoot automobiles to rings. So I have two studios. One in my home for portraits and small products. The other is in an 11,000 square foot building which features drive-in doors so I can shoot objects as large as an automobile, big groups of people or even build working sets.
