Default Learn elements now

I was curious to see if anyone here had taken the learn elements now course. It is a sponsor of this site. The site is www.learnelementsnow.com.

It looks interesting to me, but I would like to hear if anyone hear has used it.

Thanks!

I have not. But, any site that wants my contact information before giving me pricing etc I don't trust. All this hoopla upfront then you get taken behind the closed door. Not for me. Feels too used-car-lot like.

For PSE 5 I purchased Scott Kelby's "The photoshop elements 5 book" book. I really like it as it's easy reading, I can pick it up any time and I'm still learning new techniques over a year (or 2?) later. I wish he'd ditch the attempts at humor, but he does a great job of explaining and showing examples in his books. I'm sure he's got something out for the latest version.

Thank you for candid response. I will check out Scott Kelby's book. right now I am using Adobe's classroom in a book for PSE 6. It is ok. But I want something that is a little easier to use.

I use Elements 7 and have never taken a course in it....I've learned all I needed to know through DPS and google (as in "how do I _______________ in Elements 7?") As I continue on in learning, I keep asking questions here or googling....and I always find my answer. You'd be surprised how many very user-friendly free tutorials are out and about.

I've looked into online courses for this sort of thing and have found most to be for suckers with a willing credit card.
