I did a show in Alamosa, colorado this weekend and it was the worst one I have ever done. The wind was so horrific that booths were literally either flying off into outer space (they were flyig straight up into the air) or were collapsing in on them.
I had 5 people holding down my booth while I frantically ripped off my art work off the panles. Luckily only a couple of small ones were damaged. Last night the winds died down enought to allow us to set up again so we would have a aplce to sleep. But ny noon the winds were picking up again so I said the heck with it, packed up and came home. Attendance was less than half because of the wind. The worst part is I typically make anywhere from a thousand to 2 thousand at the hsi show. This year I made a whopping 200 bucks

Sorry to hear about your rough weekend. I had a look at your site, great pictures! But - did you know that photography is spelt wrongly on the home page. Sorry, not being picky, but it's my job being in print to notice these things.

Yes, this event has been going on for 11 years now. I thought last year it was windy, but it was only a breeze compared to the 50-65 mph gusts we had this year
