Default help

Although I didn't receive any help with my last question...I'm going to try a different one. Someone just mentioned Picnik to me and I wonder if anyone has tried it and what your thoughts are about it.

leonaashlee,

Sorry about that - I did see that first post. It is one of those "not sure how to answer" things. I did go to my Profile Page and clicked "Add Album" and named it and hit "Submit" which then provided the opportunity to begin downloading images. So what happens when you first attempt to add an album? I've forgotten whether the first one is different.

"Picnik" - yes I tried it the first few months it came to Flickr, and it proved handy because my software for post work will not work while I'm online. The free version has most of the basic things - crop, resize, color value change, contrast, etc., and I thought it worked fine. Haven't been able to use it lately - some Netscape or Yahoo! issues I think. There are many extra effects in the paid version, so if you like the free one . . .

I love picnik, I use it on my other flickr account. http://www.flickr.com/photos/apricot13/

I tend to upload photos there taken with my iphone so I can just upload and edit them much faster than bothering with photoshop!

Plus the images sizes are small so you dont have to worry about the image taking an age to load!
