Default going to an Insectarium this afternoon!

They opened up an insectarium in my city and I haven't been yet. The kids conned me as it will give me a chance to practice my macro LOL
I am not big on bugs ~ and they have a bug eating cook off
One thing that will be cool is their butterfly room. They have a huge walk through butterfly exhibit. I am hoping to get some great photos of some colorful butterflies

Oh and since we will be down in the city I might shoot a few photos of the drunks on bourbon for ya LOL

We print lots of bug books at work and some of them can be stunning. The butterflies in butterfly houses are always a colourful variety so you should get some great images.

We have a huge butterfly house opening up about 50 miles away later on in the year and I think the journey will be worth it!

I am officially envious!

I haven't made it to N.O. in 2-3 yrs now and I'm missing it.....AND cricket beignets? !!

O.K. I could do without the cricket beignets, but an insectarium?...that would be cool!
