Default Ever happened to you?

It was the perfect setting...
We were in the middle of the ocean, on a fishing trip. The water was so calm that it was completely flat. The sun was setting on one side of the sky; the moon was touching the water on the other side as it raised in the horizon. The colors of the sunset mixed with the color of the water and the sky created the illusion of the moon looking like a distant planet from another world, surrounded by thousands of unique and vibrant colors. Then I realized I hadn't brought the camera with, and I knew right away that I had missed once in a life time opportunity to take the perfect shot!

The memories are still painful!!

Have you ever miss the "perfect picture" because you weren't carrying your camera with you?

Yep. Once.... and I missed the opportunity to shoot a beautiful rainbow. Now I keep my camera with me at all times.

Sadly, I've done it more than once. Many times it's just not practical to bring the camera with. I always tell myself I will bring it but many times leave it behind for this or that reason. Yes, I am an idiot. Pity me.

Murphy's 15th Law of Probability states that the chance of witnessing an award-winning photo opportunity is inversely proportional to the availability of a camera.

The 32nd Law is similar: as the probability of an award-winning photo moment increases, so does the chance of forgetting to bring the proper filter or lens as well as an exponential increase in the probability of equipment or battery failure.

Do you have any idea how many 6-foot northern pike or alien fly-by's I've missed photographing in my lifetime because I forgot my camera??!

i need a new camerabag.. mine is too full to take everywhere.
which is kindof ironic..

i have so much equipment in my bag its becoming less useful because i cant take it everywhere.
that must be the 42nd Law of improbability.

i have missed a tornado and some nice rainbows... thats about it.
(like the end of the rainbow falling directly on the building of our competitor company.. which we can see from our office)
