I am happy to say that my photo Water Dancer has been choses by Kodak as their Picthure Of The Day for today May31 09 .

Thank you all so much for the congrats . I have been doing water drop Photography for a few years now & started with the Kodak Z650 .So almost any camera can be used , without a macro lens you have to do a lot of cropping but you can still get some amazing images . My first water drop on Time Square was done with that camera and can be printed to a 16"x20" print . (Sea Shell Drop July 10 2008 )
My first set up was

From App;e drop & set up

I placed the apple so that the water driped on the stem of the apple and used the stem to set my focous . It worked well, I also used a square cut from a coffee filter as a defusser taped to my pop up flash . I hope that helps anyone who is wanting to try this , but be fore warned ot is addictive .
I am useing the Cannon 5D mark ll with a macro lens and the 580EXll speedlite now & that requires a different set up , with 2 tripods . If I can be of help to anyone please let me know .
