Default Its a sad sad day for me....

Years ago, as a child, this day brought such joy to my heart. It held a special place in my soul right next to Christmas. Now all I feel is a great overwhelming sense of grief and disparage. As I march my children off to their last day of school before summer vacation I realize I need to buy more margarita mix and extra strength Tylenol to get through the next 2 months!

I love this forum, I always find the very best tips!
::::frantically writing down tequila and duct tape on my shopping list:::

The duct tape is for the children. I would explain but it all gets rather complicated with the use of blue prints and strategy

I feel your pain. There are days where I want to put my kids out in the front yard with a sign that says "Free to a Good Home". And then there are days where I want to put my kids out in the front yard with a sign that simply says, "Free".

I'm sure you all know I'm kidding. I'd be lost without my "reflector boy" and willing model. And there might be a reason or two otherwise that I might miss them.....LOL!

Haha! There are some weekends when all I think of is "Is it Monday yet? Is it Monday yet". I could be sitting happily at my desk logged into DPS and getting some 'serious' work done

But see there is a difference. From what I have seen of your photos, yours are still little and cute. I get the great thrill of spending the next 2 months with 2 teens boys (or and my little girl)
Two whole fun filled months of them eating me out of house and home, having friends over with music and video games at all hours, dirty clothes thrown all over the house.... the list could go on and on and on..

I would sit them out in the front yard with a sign that said "Please take I will pay by the house" hahahaha

OMG, you are too funny - all you hav eto do is follow the teens with your camera - if they run (they are out of your hair) if they stay and enjoy it - you build your portfolio...

oh yes, this is coming here too. I used to love summers with my wonderful sweet daughter. However, this teenage attitude filled, back talking, sleep til 3pm person that took her place also makes me want to get the free to good home signs out. Maybe the answer is more booze ...... hmmmmmmm

OMG this is hilarious. I remember those days. Nothing a couple Xanax and a cocktail won't cure My mother in law lived across the street from us when my last child was still in high school and she would call me at work and report what was going on at my house. It was fun having her spy for me. My kid couldn't figure out how I always knew what was going on. He never found out it was my mother in law. Pretty funny.
