Welcome to DPS Foreverjules929. May I suggest clicking on the FAQ link? You should find enough info there to get you rolling in the right direction. Also if you click on a thread, the first one and/or two post will contain the how to's and the rules. Do take the time to go over these. Some are different than others. So check each one. Following these will greatly benefit you in getting whatever kind of help or answers you may need.
If you've come here to learn and share everything photography, you are in the right place. There are all level of photographers here. Everyone is very helpful. And I believe you will enjoy this site very much.

Anyone can join in the assignments. Most of the information you need is right in the first post. At the same time we have a mini-contest going on during the dates listed at the top of the thread; the rules for that are right in the first post. You do not have to enter the contest, it is optional. You can also look up old assignments and still post in those threads; the assignments themselves never close.
