Question am i the only one

getting this message over and over again? The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable.
Please try again later. On a plain white page? It's really annoying. I cleared out some of my cookies thinking that might help but it didn't.

I've not got it in months - and I'm on here four to five times a day. Can you give me an idea what you might have been doing / clicking / what page you were on when it happened? Apologies if it is indeed dPS.

Anyone else getting this?

Sime

I've had this problem several times. Question: what browser are you using?

One time, quitting Firefox and reopening was all it took.
One time, clearing my cache was necessary.
The last time, I had to delete all cookies from dps -- but that did clear it up for good.

Good luck!

I have gotten it on Safari and Firefox. Not sure what I was doing. I posted something about it, if I remember right. I usually have to reboot at least once before it will go away

Is it, per chance, after you write a post and press "post quick reply" ...I've recieved a couple of time a white page - if I click in the URL bar after the address and hit enter, it takes me where I want to go. Not recently though...

I use FF3 / IE7 / SAFARI and CHROME (As a tester from time to time) on mac and pc from multiple locations... Hmmm

No, it is nothing like that at all. Not sure how to explain in computer terms But it is like a block goes up, so that it doesn't matter which browser I am using they both come up with the unavailable. What I also found was that if I had opened a thread before it would let me open it again, but I couldn't open anything new

When this happens, you can get to other websites? (Don't mean to sound like a helpdesk person, but I was for the last seven years!) ...

At least I didn't say "Have you turned it off and on again!"

If this is the same problem as I'm having (which it sounds like it is), then you can get to a few pages (for example, the forum index), but trying to view any threads at all leads to the "This page is temporarily unavailable" error. Every now and then, one or two threads (usually new, unviewed ones) will let me view -- which leads me to believe that it's something to do with cookies, keeping track of what has and hasn't been viewed.
