Default Craigslist funny...
Found this while looking through camera "for sale" ad's... thought it was rather funny...


"FIRST OFF: I WILL NOT TRADE THIS CAMERA IN FOR YOUR LAPTOP OR MP3 PLAYER OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT I DON'T NEED. I ONLY ACCEPT CASH. WHICH LEADS ME TO THIS, I WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT SHIP MY CAMERA TO YOUR COUSIN OR BROTHER IN WEST AFRICA OR UTAH OR ANYWHERE ELSE, I KNOW IT'S A SCAM SO QUIT TRYING. I DEAL LOCALLY ONLY AND ONLY ACCEPT CASH OR CHECKS (WHICH ARE NOT FAKE). THANK YOU."

Oh, I'm quite certain it does. I've sold a few other things on Craigslist and gotten the same response. I just thought her wording was funny...

While trying to sell a lens over Kajiji (a local board) I got 3 "traps" claiming to offer me almost double my asking price (and therefore almost double retail) to mail the lens to some god-forsaken corner of the globe. I believe one was Uganda, one was Nigeria and the other was Sweden or something. All were "For my cousin/son/nephew/adopted puppy studying in location"
