Default Anyone using Delkin PopUp LCD Shade

Hello all,

Has anyone bought/used any Delkin popup LCD shade on their DSLR or P&S? Please see www.delkin.com/shop/product.php?productid=312 for a look-see. It seems like a good idea on paper, but perhaps others have discovered problems. In particular I'm shooting a G10. They don't have a specific shade for the G10, however, they have a 3" model I'm hoping will fit. Thank you for reading my mail and for your comments.

I have seen these before, and here's the thoughts I have had. It would seem more useful on a camera with 'live view' and if that's how you were shooting, instead of through the viewfinder. Mine doesn't have 'live view' so I'm looking exclusively through the viewfinder when shooting. It would be too much opening and closing for me to preview shots or see/change settings on my lcd and then to shoot. Again, if you have 'live view' and use it to shoot, it may be more useful.

Bryan,

Thanks for the followup. I have the same concern, I'd constantly be opening/closing the shade to see what happened. And......can't use the VF with the shade open. Thanks again, Jerry
