dust bunnies on your sensor. You've been a naughty boy by leaving the camera on while changing lenses haven't you? The sensor is electronically charged and when you take the lens off the body, the sensor sucks in available dust. You need to put the camera on Blub, take lens off turn it upside down and use on of those rocket blowers to blow the dust off sensor. Easy to do.

I feel your pain. I, too, learned the hard way about having the camera on while changing lens and/or holding the camera body up instead of down to change the lense. It is in the shop being cleaned as we speak--I am too new to this hobby to attempt cleaning the sensor myself. A great lesson learned!

I am SO guilty of this! I realize I have to change the lens. I KNOW I am supposed to turn off the camera, but if I'm in the middle of getting ready to shoot, ultimately, I look and the darned thing is ON! Ouch! Wish I would remember to shut it off first!!!!!!!!
