Default excited and nervous

I just bought cs3 odd of ebay for $155 - glad I will finally have full blow photoshop - scared I will be had...

Michelle - I got a tracking number today....so I know it shipped, now I just have to see if it installs properly and need to buy a book - prob will get Scott Kelby's book - you know, some light bed time reading...LOL

$155 seems so cheap/affordable to me - hope it all works out...but i am going to the bookstore this morning

Dont spend a lot of money on books. Most of what you can find is online for free. Just sit down andplay with it, explore.
I keep a binder full of tutorials that I have found on line. Most of which can never be found in any book anyway

I have Scott's book and it's great. Easy and fun to read and covers all of the common things digital photographers will need to do with PS.

I don't know if stand-alone editions of PS CS3 come with dvd tutorials, but the ones included with the Suite are pretty good. Sometimes a little on the fast paced side, but you can easily "rewind" them to pick up what you might have missed.

and don't bother with books... youtube is all you need.
