Default Denver/Dallas Photo Ops

Hello DPS Friends,

IŽll be traveling next Sunday to Denver and later to Dallas. I would like to hear from you, where are the greatest photo ops in town.

Thanks in advance for your time.

I'm from Fort Worth so I don't know that many places in Dallas, but I do know they have a great Arboretum that has beautiful flowers this time of year. Good luck!

Pretty much anywhere in Denver has great photo ops. If you go just east of the city you can get some great sunsets of the Rocky mountins thru the skyscrapers. And like OldWolf says, LoDo (lower downtown) there are a ton of great ops. The stadiums and tons of old buildings and shops.
The Denver Zoo is awsome and thats at Colorado Blvd and just north of Colfax.
Go west a little ways on Morrison Road (if you need directions ask me) and follow it up to Evergreen, there are tons of gorgeous mountain roads to photograph.
West on I-70 go up to Idah Springs and take the road south to Mt. Evans, I tell you that you will never see anything like the top of Mt. Evans. Mountain goats and all kinds of wildlife. Thats about an hour drive from Denver.
Elitch Gardens has of course lots of fun stuff to see and photograph.
There are 2 small lakes south of town that would provide great sunsets.
Northeast of town is DIA (Denver International Airport) pretty cool.
The Butterfly Pavillion has HUGE bugs and a room full of thousands of butterflys
Is that enought o get you started?

In Dallas, I agree that the arboretum will have lots of beauty for you, but if you want more "real Dallas" try West End and surrounding downtown Dallas. I can't wait to get back there sometime with my camera in hand.
