Hi Everyone,
For the most part I am brand new to digital photography. My interest in the art form was recently sparked when my lovely wife got me a light box as a present. I'm a toy collector and have always wanted to get into taking decent desktop photos of my collection. After learning how to use the light box correctly, and taking some acceptable shots, I decided to do some research on the internet so I could understand things more clearly. My search led me to this wonderful website, where in one hour I was able to learn enough to make my photos twice as good. Anyway I look forward to participating in the forums and learning as much as possible. I hope to meet many of you as well! - Raptor Bandito

Welcome to your newest addiction! Seriously this is such a wonderful place. The people are friendly, the information you will find here is priceless. Just pelase make sure that when you post that you check out the guidleines/rules posted at the top of every thread. Each section is just a tiny bit different. That way you'll know without a doubt, how many posts you can do, what to include (or not to include) in your posts. At any rate, have fun and am very much looking forward to seeing more from you!
