Hiya! New to DPS as well as Digital Photography

Hi Everyone,

For the most part I am brand new to digital photography. My interest in the art form was recently sparked when my lovely wife got me a light box as a present. I'm a toy collector and have always wanted to get into taking decent desktop photos of my collection. After learning how to use the light box correctly, and taking some acceptable shots, I decided to do some research on the internet so I could understand things more clearly. My search led me to this wonderful website, where in one hour I was able to learn enough to make my photos twice as good.

Anyway I look forward to participating in the forums and learning as much as possible. I hope to meet many of you as well!
