Angry why does the red turn neon green like this?!!?

can someone explain what im doing wrong or what setting i have thats making my photos (especially @ night) turn out like this, where the red turns neon green?

i just realised now thats its quite hard to see bcos of the massive change in image size, but if u try to squint and look closely its greenish
on the first photo its the red writing on the left on a building
on the 2nd photo is the red traffic light and a bit of the car's brake lights...

If you don't want to upload full size images, then crop out the problem areas and upload just that section at full resolution. That would at least let us see what you're seeing.

I can't really tell fromo the pics, but I would venture to guess there is just not enough red for the camera to interpret it correctly.

On a CMOS sensor, there are 2x as many green receptors as there are blue or red...the "program" does the interpolation to display things correctly.

Also, if you are recording direct to JPEG, try RAW....maybe converting to JPEG on computer rather than in camera will help.

Have you done any post processing? Just leveling will intensify the red in that photo (sample taken from your myspace.com).

yah sure ill post another cropped version of the neon green bit im talking about,
i also take my photos in raw, which is why i wonder why it still does it.. hmmm...

The level diagram of your original photo on myspace.com and photo after leveling. Photos in raw still need basic processing.
