Default I literally LOL'ed at this E-Mail

So I posted a Craigslist Ad just to see if I could get any work in. Why not, it's free to post. I'm just curious to see if I can make a few bucks from this enjoyable hobby of mine. And I'm always up for C&C and trying to learn more and more everyday from people of all sorts (fellow amateurs and pros alike).

The first reply was from a Michael and Nancy Mikrut:

Your work is crap! Don't waste your time. Your lighting is bad, so are your posing skills. you don't pay attention to detail.

My buddy did a little checking in just for fun and found out they were local photographers! And their company is Blue Diamond Photography. Here's their website: http://www.bluediamondphoto.com/index.html.

I'm just amazed by their e-mail still. Talk about being very hostel...oh Blue Diamond Photography I'm sorry I don't meet your requirements whatsoever and like you told me, I shouldn't even try anymore and put the camera down. Thank you Michael and Nancy Mikrut.

BTW I'm still LOL'ing about this all!

Strange email.

Wow... where did they find the time to bother cruising Craigslist for competition (AND writing harassing emails), instead of actually taking photos? :P

I was actually going to respond back nicely with a few pointers on their website. But I decided not to and continue my day normally.

I wonder if they sell any photos that are larger than half-wallet size?

Anything can look good that small

Wow! Very professional, aren't they? I agree with saralone...they sound like they are a bit worried about competition and are a bit insecure.

The only reason to write something like that is to intimidate you. There is no other reason to be so nasty. They haven't figured out yet that those who are in it for keeps only get inspired by emails like that.

Go get 'em fellow Minnesotan!
