Default Had my camera bag at the office today...

I ended up with two people inviting me to take some pictures for them! One's daughter is getting married nearby on saturday, and she said i was welcome to show up and take pictures for my own practice (theres already a paid photographer there)

Also, another woman has an aging pet dog that she wants some high quality pictures of, so we will get together some weekend for those.

In both cases, all I am looking for is expense compensation and the right to use the photos in a portfolio if I choose. Other than that, they get their photos!

Cool -- way to build your portfolio, get experience, and probably get some good will!

That's a neat story. I've been bringing mine to work too. I keep meaning to go out at lunch sometime and take pictures of the city I work in. I live out in rural area so it is very different here. So far I've only had weird looks when I walk around with it, no offers of pictures yet.

That's great. Who would have thought? Maybe I better do the same. I work at a private country club.
