Default Frustration of Not Having a Camera With Me

So yesterday we had our ladder truck out on the drill ground with the aerial up and a American flag on the top. There was a light breeze up there, and the sun was out. Looking up at it with the light breeze waving the flag in the wind, with perfect blue sky with some greatly formed clouds made me really mad, ,because I did not have my camera with me. The shot would of been perfect. URGGG!!!!! Dont't you hate it when you don't have your camera with you...

I need to bring mine more than I do, even with my mundane workdays.

Oh, yeah.

For me, it was the night I rolled into a Krispy Kreme drive-thru at 3am, and the teller was leaning down out of the window, and the cop was leaning up out of his marked Crown Vic to transfer a stack of a dozen boxes of donuts...

D'oh!!

I have this problem all the time. I've got a Nikon D90, but sometimes that's too big to carry around just incase of a quick shot or two. I'm looking at buying a cheap pocket camera that I can just carry around, but I'm still doing research. There are so many cameras in the sub $100 range, but finding the features/size balance point is tough

Not having a camera with me frustrated me quite a bit. So I bought a Canon A590 IS at Newegg last month for $109. I can use it to shoot in manual mode and it has an optical viewfinder. Now I just have to remember to grab it whenever I leave!
