I attended a presentation given by Paul Bannick and was simply blown away. Not only is he extreemely knowledgable on his subject and a very eloquent speaker, but his photography is absolutely amazing. His technique has made me realise that I have been doing everything wrong regarding photographing wildlife! Granted, I do not have the time to invest in the observation and preparation that he has, nor do I have the money for the lenses and equipment that he uses, but his technique certainly leads to careful thought on my own methodology.
If you are able to, I highly recommend attending one of his presentations. You will be enthralled and mesmerized and taken on the journey of a lifetime. I purchased a copy of his book and already it is becoming the most read book in my house. Even if you are unable to attend a presentation, his book is a steal at the price. No, I do not recieve commision for this unadulterated plug. I am simply an aspiring photographer who is now an absolute fan of his work. He has become my idol and favorite photographer, I have not found anyone else, (sorry DPSers but that applies even here) who can touch his photography. He makes us all look like complete amateurs! Paul Bannick
