Earth Mosaic 2009 (22 Apr)

I came across this on Photojojo, but I thought I'd let people here know about it too (mainly because I love these photo projects that focus on people around the world taking photographs on the same day for one project).

So, the Earth Mosaic project is scheduled for Earth Day 2009 (April 22). You take a picture (or several) on earth day, and upload them to the project website and then they will be put onto a world map. They're licensed Creative Commons so consider that when you're deciding what / whether to upload. So, I'm going to try to remember to take my camera and take a walk today. It's a kind of fun idea, and I'm looking forward to participating.

Just thought I'd post this up for anyone who hadn't heard but may still be interested (it's not too late anywhere at the time of posting this! )

I uploaded a sunset / dusk shot with the sunset reflecting in my livingroom window (I just wasn't having any photography luck during the day )



Yeah, I'm still obsessing with the wide angle.
