your photography? Do you ever have parents guilt over it? Sometimes I do. I know it is not intentional of course but I seem to end up with more pictures of my youngest daughter. I find myself consciously trying to make sure I get more shots of my older daughter (but I seem to get the hand a lot). Maybe she is not the ham she used to be now that she is a tween.
Any thought of your own on this topic? Has it ever crossed your mind?

I have tons more pics of my granson than I do of the granddaughters. Mostly because he was around alot more. With that being said (and I am so glad my daughter cant see this) he is more photogenic than the girls. Not that he is cuter or I favor him but he just seems to like the camera more

I tried to torture all three equally by taking their pictures while they were growing up

Definitely. Any picture you take of my daughter is a good one, she just comes out perfect in pictures. On the otherhand, it is impossible to take a good picture of my son, his eyes are closed, or he has a dumb look on his face or he has a stupid fake smile -- I don't think we have a single good picture of the boy.

I would try to shoot them all equally, but some want me to photograph them and others don't. So, I don't feel guilty I have fewer of the uncooperative ones, it's their own choice. I do feel bad for my oldest three that I don't have many good photos of them when they were little. I had a crappy film camera and was too poor to take and develop lots of shots. But I can't help that, so I try not to feel guilty about it.

I have gazillions more photos of my daughter than my son, simply because most of the time he doesn't let me take his picture, and when we sit down for a shoot, he loses patience with me and I can only crank out a few before he bolts. LOL!

Yep, got tons of pictures of my stepdaughter and I think about 2 of my boys. But that's because she just loves to pose whether its a MySpace photo or a DMV picture.

Of course....my 13 year old boy will run away from the camera while my 15 year old runs to.
![]() Although I'm more prone to "forcing" my 13 year old to come with me to take pictures, even as much as he hates it.
