this forum has highlighted several cases of it within our own membership.

i must say, i had a look at the group ,and sure, some of them are more photoshop than anythign else, some are actually pretty decent digital art imho.

but just for the name of fun i'll let the rest slide...
You'd be amazed at the crap that gets stolen.

# 0.1 - Being overly critical of others photography and making a huge list that is a entirely huge waste of time.

I post with watermarks and give people ones that size because they are always putting them on their facebooks and myspaces and stuff. I give them copies without, but ask that if they post online to use the ones with watermarks. It is not that I have a huge ego, it is just free advertisement.

dcclark: get the joke. Yes, there are lots of things that are overdone and should be banished. This list isnt a terribly good example.

I like how #32 and #47 are mutually exclusive, and nearly every description contradicts #33. If everything on the list is not clever, and I'm also not supposed to be clever, does that mean I shouldn't shoot anything, or try any new technique?

There's so much good photography out there, why waste your time creating a group devoted to techniques you don't like? Wouldn't it be more constructive to work on finding good photographers and their photos?

Wow - Massive sense of humour failure here!

Granted it is a bit weird to come and pimp your cliquy (sp) flickr group here but some of the list is actually quite funny and a lot of the stuff on there is heavily overdone a lot of the time on flickr.

Surely the fact that cropping vs not cropping being on the same list says "Have a laugh" rather than, "this list list is bogus, how can you be so stupid and judgemental".

OK - I get it now. I had missed the point completely.

Sorry to sound so sanctimonious and pompous. Must have been the hangover talking.
I guess that makes me fall foul of #35.
*guilty*

Sorry guys.
