Question Throw rug that looks like wood floor???

My sister in law had some photos taken of her baby by a local photographer. She had the coolest throw rug that looked like a wood plank floor. I would LOVE to have one! I do occasional studio shots for friends and family in my house. It would be a great prop for me. I have scoured the internet and cannot find anything like it. Does anyone have any ideas on where I can find one???

Can you ask the photographer where she got it?

I could.....but I really don't want to ask her. She is a bit sensitive about things like that. I was hoping I could just find it on my own.

You don't have to tell her it's for a prop - just say you saw it and it would look just great in your livingroom, wherever did she find such a lovely rug?

You can get wood floor panels from Home Depot. Would probably work better than a throw rug since it will look funny when the model's feet are sinking into the "wood" floor.

The problem is she knows I am a photographer ;-) I'm sure she would know why I wanted it.

Do you have a picture from the photoshoot you could post here? If I knew what it looked like I could do a search for it.

It actually doesn't look weird at all. It looks great. The feet don't sink into it at all. I don't want to get real wood floor panels because I don't have the space to store it.

The floor panels are sold in tiles that you can just piece together. When you are finished just take them apart and stack them up. Takes up hardly any space at all.

The only idea have is this - for Christmas one year, I had a photo of my kids printed on a cotton throw - I think I got it from CVS.com - maybe if you got a clear shot of a hardwood floor and had one made up?
