Default Product photography question

I have been the product photographer for www.tenniscompany.com for the past few years. Mainly shooting clothing, accessories, bags, etc. The owner doesn't want to upgrade his old Olympus or try and get better lighting equipment. Well, what is the best lighting set up that I should be using for shooting clothing and merchandise like this? We currently have just your standard flood type lights. I know we should be using some sort of strobe system. Any info would help!

Well.
Depends on your founding, but if you wish to go into strobe system then you can try 2 or 3 strobes firing by remote master. Say one strobe on left, one on right, or one in front and one on left and one on your right.
The system can be set up that the strobes will fire in sequence and this will produce all different lightning effect. This is good for shooting catalogs (printing).
Unfortunately all this involve cost, so.. unless the owner decide to go with the flow... you are stuck with what you got.
Sorry mate
