Default Thank you all

I didn't know where to put this so I figured here was as good a place as any - it is general after all.

I stumbled upon this site about 2 months ago when I was researching to buy my new camera and what a find!! This is the best forum I have found and I did a heap of searching.
I have been an avid point and shoot picture taker for years and decided it was time to do an upgrade so (maybe foolishly) I went out and upgraded - everything...... my camera, my computer (PC to mac) and installed photoshop. I definitely bit off a whole lot more than I could chew.
But thanks to this site I am now feeling a bit more confident about my new "toys".
I have learnt so much that my brain feels ready to explode some days but I am loving it.
To the moderators who devote so much time and energy into this wonderful creation and the other users who so generously offer their wisdom I would just like to say a really big thank you.
Each day I learn something new and try out ideas that seem beyond my capabilities, only to find that sometimes I can pull it off. Your hard work and inspiring photographs (and great sense of fun) make my learning so much more enjoyable.
Congratulations on such a great site, to all who contribute.
Thank you all.

(I realise this sounds a bit sucky but hey, I took a photo of my first drip crown today and I'm pretty excited about that . Couldn't have done it so soon without you guys.)

macroMe,

You've tuned in to the heart of the site - the exchange of information, openly, with enthusiasm and basic friendliness. We're really glad to hear it works well for you. And we thank you for your contributions as well!

Right here
My first crown...
My first crown

My next (and favourite)...
My favourite crown

Already I look at these and say to myself "hmmm, should have put in a contrast somewhere to get some additional interest and what's that funny square in the refraction?" Always looking and learning.
