Default YEA! - just got my 50mm 1.8 lens

HELLO!

I'm so excited and no one in my home seems to get it. LOL - I had some furniture left in an apartment I rent out - - so I decided to sell the furniture and get my nifty fifty!

I've only gotten to play with it a little bit today. I can't wait to try out some new portraits of the kids with it. So far only my cat has been a willing and able model. I tried some early spring flowers - but in michigan here there is not much color yet.

just wanted to share my excitement with others who get it!

thanks
amy

I got mine a few weeks ago, and I'm still like a kid in a candy store with it! Congrats, you're going to LOVE it!

Funny, for me the 50mm prime lens was the default issued with my old camera and I thought it was nothing. Till I got on here and started reading about lenses. Now I'm feeling quite smug that I have two of them. LOL

Congratulations! How funny my husband didn't get it either. I just recieved mine two days ago, still trying to find the time to use it, but can't wait.
