Default Website for Friend

Hi all I have just finished this website for friend of mine where we had a deal that I would design him a website if he would take me on a couple of wedding shoots.

Since then I have been on a shoot with him and enjoyed it very much and it was awesome to see how a real pro handled himself on the day.

Anyway I wanted to try and get some feedback from the DPS people to see if you like my design and his website etc.

Any criticism bad or good welcome.

Nicely done!

Crisp, clean, and easy to navigate.

Although I'm not a fan of flash, you've done an excellent job of minimizing all of it's negative impacts IMO. It's heartening to see flash effects properly used for a change.

The only other comment is that it might be nice to see one size larger of the photos. Thumbnail -> Preview -> Detail?

It doesn't look bad, but you could have changed flash with rollover or ********** in galleries... but now that google indexes flash, that does not matter anymore... not bad...

One of the best photo sales sites I have seen paraded on here recently. A real pro feel to it, nothing unnecessary. Its always a massive releif to go to a site offered up here and not be greeted by a flash loading or splash screen followed by iritaiting elevator music. A proper use of flash that did not make me go eugh flash, bravo. Your photographer friend has got a great deal out of this, a great website and a free second shooter, bargain. You've proably not done too bad out of it either as it is very difficult to get wedding experience.

(Why do we Brits call it elevator music? Shouldn't it be lift music.)
