Default Woohoo, going to Moto GP!!

My oh has agreed we can go to the moto gp when it comes to Doni in July as its the last time they are there It will only be a practice day or 2 but ive never been to them before, plus i dont think id want to be that packed in on race day then try and get out

Im soooooo excited, i havent been to the bikes in the last couple of years so its long over-due! Ill go to more if i get the chance

Anyone else going???

Hi there,
well as someone who has been to a fair few races at Donington Park, both Moto GP and World Superbikes I know for a fact your going to have a great time, ( only live a few miles from the track ).
one thing I would say is get there early, and I mean early, don't be surprised if there are people queing for 6:30 onwards!! Also think about what type of shots you want to catch, me? I would go for Craner Curves and catch them in the corners trying to over take each other. Your going to have a great day, take plenty of grub and tea and maybe a toliet roll... lol Look forward to seeing the results!!

We dont live far from doni either!

I used to live near Brands and for world had to be at the gates for 6:30am!

My prob is with 2 young kids and the oh getting the shots i want maybe different from the shots i get Still being there will be good enough for me

I went to the moto gp 2008 inaugural at Indianapolis. http://www.flickr.com/photos/skersti...7607851434956/ I used my Bigma 50-500 almost exclusively... great time!

sk66.. i plan on taking my bigma as i didnt have it when i last went to bsb.

Added bonus, my mums coming, so maybe i will get some photography time
