Exclamation Think your creativity is confined by your finances?

Check this out:
Teens capture images of space with £56 camera and balloon

And then look here:

So now what's your excuse?

This has always been true-you can be very creative and make money with the cheapest camera,be it film or digital-there are a couple that go around taking wedding photos with Diana/Holga toy cameras, taped up to prevent light entering, and making lots of money at it-the images are technically crap, but the clients seem to like the "difference"?

My excuse is that I'd rather not send my D200 into space and trust it to fall to earth safely

Thats incredible that they sent it 100,000 feet into the air, but only had to go 10km to find it.

Did it not fall really fast? Seems like you would have found tiny pieces of camera....

Designing that contraption it went up with I'm sure was no easy task, they certainly put more time and money then the cost of that cheepie camera in there. Kind of disappointing there are only a few shots from up high however. Still cool however

Far from inhibiting creativity, I think the lack of money is one of the limitations that promotes creativity.

Nah! Not my creativity, but being able to pick up and go when I want now.

That's way too funny. Must be an "ART" thing. We have people here over where I live with digital cameras that take crappy photos and make money at it too. Not much, but they ask enough to make their clients happy. Now their clients can afford more beer and pizza for the reception.
