Default Riding season is now open!

After a terrible winter up here in Michigan I have finally become fed up. The weather has reached a point were it's not freezing all the time. We will still have cold days for the next two months but we should approach the 50's the majority of the time if the climate is working as it should.

Time to change the oil, check fluids and tires and start riding again. I rode for a few hours Saturday and realized just how much I miss it. Once again the Motorcycle bug has bit me and I'm hooked riding for another season.

Ladies and Gentleman Start your engines and or two stokes.

Ride safe......

Mine is up on blocks, I need to find a new brake drum and sprocket ( yep thats right, drum )....for my 72' FLH......it's funny, I can't ride anymore because of a couple of ruptured discs...but I can;t part with it either, one of my biggest joys in life was "wrenchin'" on that thing, now every hour spent wrenchin' equals 4 hours laid out flat on the floor.......oh well....what are you gonna' do ? life goes on..... stay safe, keep an eye out for them deer up there.

Hey guys sorry to make you feel bad but in San Diego the weather is good for riding all year.
I do admit though I miss that first spring ride after a winter of no riding.

It easy to forget how nimble this motorcycle is. Takes weaving through traffic to another level.

Started up the Ninja 600RR last week, but still to much snow to ride. The KX 450 will also have to wait...first practice is in April (weather permitting). C'mon Spring!!

Heh, I saw this and assumed it was about roadbiking, because that's been on my mind lately! We probably have another couple of weeks here in da UP (the Upper Peninsula: northern northern Michigan, for the flatlanders) before the roads are clear enough to really bicycle. But I can't wait...

(I keep a pan and bag on mine, and bring my camera along almost every time I head out.)

Yes Kawasaki has had this "race ready" version for a while. Swingarm and suspension can be adjusted for different track conditions. Most of the manufacturers have their versions. They do a lot of their development based on track results.
