Default boo for a strict workplace!

So my workplace disables any links or images from flickr. Also seems to disable many other large images too. Its tough to do much on this forum when you cant see images!

Oh well, I guess this way I still do SOME work!

Not uncommon. The place I previously worked introduced a ban on Flickr. In my position as webmaster I got that partially lifted (we actually used Flickr for some photos on our public website, because of the slideshow tools) but was already gearing up to move to my present job so didn't have to suffer too long.

It might be worth seeing if your employer has some personal use allowance where they could allow it; otherwise, you'll just have to save DPS as a pleasure to indulge in from home.

I work at a credit union, so any breaches of security policy brings the hammer down pretty swiftly.

If its a really slow day I can browse a bit from my phone, but yeah mostly its a wait until home sort of thing.
