What would you consider to be a high resolution photograph? What pixel size? This is probably something that I should know - but I don't!!!
And can someone please explain hdr? I am going to search on here for a tutorial. Thanks! |

"high" resolution is relative... sotheres no rigth answer. 5 yeras ago High resolution was different to whatwe can use now.
but to answer your question I consider 640X480 to be low resolution, (0.3Mp i think?) and 3840X2740 as high resolution (roughly 10Mp) HDR. well theres tons on that on this site and elsewhere. but basically its blending two or more images together at different exposures to make the highlights and shadows all appear to be a very similar exposure.. so you dont loose detail anywhere.... basically

If we're talking "on the web," I'd call high res more than about 1000 pixels on the long side. If we're talking cameras themselves, it sort of depends on the context. A lot of medium format gear makes my 12MP bodies look little, but I wouldn't call them low res.
