Default Help I Can not upload my Photos to my pc

HELP!!! Can anyone tell me how to fix this ......... I keep getting an error message that the folder is full or it is set to read only . What the heck ??? I deleted all i could from my pc and there is free space ..........what do i look under to find if my folder is set to read only .........I have checked everything I can think of & I have removed & restored my camera & i did 3 system restores today & I still can not get the pics off of the camera on to the computer I normally upload in picassa........now it starts and just when I think it is going to work this time it stops & I get that message .I have tried to upload from the control panel with the camera wizard & that does not work either .

when you downloaded the origianl pics from your camera - did you copy them to another folder or did you put them in another folder. That happens to me when I copy - I think it might work if you do a save as - but what a pain...

empty your recycle bin and your browser cache.

to check how much actual disk space you have, open up Windows Explorer and right click on the c:, then select properties. It will show how much space you have used and what is left.

Then right-click on the folder in which you are trying to save your photos (and any sub or parent folders), and select properties. It will tell you there if it is read-only, and you can change it.

Thank you both , I managed to get them uploaded after hrs of trying ,I am not sure why it worked this time I think the DANG thing is possessed . I could not find any folders that were set to read only so I bet it will happen again ,but for now it is working .
