Default Have YOU seen me?

We meet here online, comment and help each other, friends in cyberspace yet how often do we actually unknowingly physically cross paths? I have seen photos on here taken in areas I myself frequent and often while I am out taken pictures, I see other photographers ambling around. The thought always crosses my mind that perhaps that photographer is one of my fellow DPSers. Who knows, how many times have YOU seen another DPSer? I think I am going to get a T-shirt that says, DPSer here are YOU? What ways can anyone suggest of being able to recognize each other out in the field? There is always the straightforward approach but sometimes that is not feasible. I would get angry if someone chased away the bird I was shooting just to ask me if I visited DPS. So, a T-shirt, a bumper sticker? How do you recognize a friend here on DPS that you only know via a screen name? Or am I the only one that wonders.

I am pretty sure that I am the only DPSer here in Cozumel. buta shirt would be kinda cool in that nerdy photographer way. I would so sport it.

I was wondering this the other day, when I was at the zoo and ran into a fellow with a Canon.

I also bumped into a guy with a D90 when I was trying to get a night-time city skyline shot (which didn't work since I don't yet have a tripod).

Funny, this is only my second week and I've bumped into two other photographers. But I haven't seen any other people on here with "Location: Edmonton" yet.

PS: genie, I assume yours is referring to Washington state, not DC? I will be in Bellingham in March.

I would sport a DPS hat for sure, to bad DPS doesn't have an apparel section.

That's a good idea Murtasma. I may have to break out the air-brush and silk-screens to see what I can come up with.

Shout out to everyone from Calgary

Anyways, the bumper sticker seems like a good idea.

Hey I'm in Edmonton but I hang out in Calgary fairly regularly (and in Kananaskis).

Well a really good way would be to just run around waving your arms and screaming, "I'm on DPS!!!!!!!!"

On my mom's site, we tie a certain color piece of ribbon (black with white polka dots) to our purse, or diaper bag, or stroller, or whatever. We have 1000 members in my town, so I ALWAYS bump into people when I'm out. The ribbon makes it really easy to tell. Maybe we could do something like that with our camera bag, or camera strap, or something. A certain color or pattern ribbon tied to it (and no guys, it doesn't have to be a bow...LOL! just tied in a knot is fine). Whatcha think?
