Putting together something that has been done before and STILL IMPRESSING PEOPLE is the real challenge.

That said, I can't believe hot chicks on a car and birds on a telephone wire haven't been mentioned yet.
I agree with what you are saying. There is a reason there are so many versions of those certain categories...and the challenge of still finding a way to impress!

I could'nt have said this better. While I do make alot of cliche images as well, I gotta admit it becomes a chore to go through all the mediocre cliche images shown on the community.

I saw this and thought it was going to be images of cliches. Like a photo of curtains for the cliche of "It's curtains".

We had a game thread kinda like that long, long ago... Aha! Found it! Well, it was the Metaphor Challenge, but your "It's curtains" thing just made me remember it

One that comes to mind is the woman making a heart with her fingers over her pregnant belly. Or come to think of it, almost all pg belly photos - the younger child's hand on the belly or hugging the belly or the pg woman silhouette ....

You could have just linked to my Flickr! LoL.

I like some of my cliches. It's always different when it's the sunset that you froze your ass off to capture or the cat that has been sitting on your lap for 8 years.

One day I'll graduate to original work.

lol.

Or if your from Illinois, a picture of of politician taking an envelope of cash for ( fill in the blank)

The thing is, cliches become cliches for a reason..in the spoken word they make sense, so they survive, and in photography they're just plain cool ....I plan on trying them all and I don't care what you guys think...

How about a photo of the socks on your feet? Even better if they are brightly coloured stripey socks. Even better than that if they are resting on something like a dashboard.
