Hmmm, What browser are you using? I am using foxfire on an small monitor and I see everything. And checked on hubby's laptop and saw everything. I need to make them aware...I could just mak eit smaller I guess...

It's too wide on my screen too. We're using IE7, just thought it was me.

I usually design the sites I work on between 700 and 900 pix wide and center it. (I use an older version of dreamweaver mostly) That usually does the trick. Some folks will still have to scroll side to side and some will see more of the background, but you can't please everyone all the time!

I opened my Zenfolio site this weekend. I haven't played with it much but I think it will be alright for me. I've got the premium plan so I can sell through them. I live in the middle of nowhere and getting to a reliable printer is just not a possibility.

There are hundreds of places to get free webhosting. I am currently using hosting24, which is the premium version of 000webhost.com.

Highly recommended, and you can easily buy a domain name for $10 a year and put it over a free website =]

You can buy the domain (yourname.com) at GODADDY for only a few bucks a year.
(Coupons, you can get a .com for only $1.99 + tax)

Then setup a FREE account at BRAVENET.com.

Then go back to GODADDY and change the nameservers.

Then go back to BRAVENET, and make your website. BRAVENET uses WYSIWYG. (What You See Is What You Get) No need to know any web designing experience.

Yes, it may sound complicated, but it is actually really simple.

As of today, I own over 100 domains and 17 Forums.
I have my own personal hosting, but i also use BRAVENET as well.
3 x PR6's websites, 32 x PR5's websites, 55 x PR4's websites, 32 x PR3's websites, 13 x PR2's or lower websites

Did they ever get their Fantastico, that they were going to get? They kept saying they were going to have it. But last time i checked, they still have yet to get it, LOL
That is a very good program, it would be nice to see them bring it to their hosting.

As I've mentioned, ohhhh, only about a few hundred times before.......www.000webhost.com is the way to go as far as FREE is concerned. I have tried out almost all the others mentioned in this thread (mainly for reasons to determine if web design was to be a career choice, besides the point) and can tell you not to waste your time with them. Wix is cool if you like flash, but I won't open that box......

Edit: You can even take out the crap at the bottom that says, "this website was made free with....."
