on his deathbed. He is talking to a friend: - “for gods sake don’t let the wife sell all my gear for the price I told her I bought it for”

Not that anyone on this forum would be economical with the truth when it came to the price of equipment!

To be honest, it was totally worth it, never had so much fun with any other hobby.

I think I'm at ~$725.. not much here, Rebel XT w/ kit lens, basic CaseLogic bag, 50mm 1.8, 2gb CF card. May be acquiring a friend's 28-135 IS soon, that should be nice, list is $400 there..
