I am a severe introvert. But I am finding that I love this art more and more every day. I have had to force myself out in public situations to get over this. When I go out in town, I do get questioned quite a bit. And it's usually by the police or some other authority figure. I do usually end up having some real nice conversations with people though, and I am thankful for that. I think it may be the way I carry myself, because I don't carry any gear, except the camera. Being a big dude with a bunch of tattoos doesn't help in this area of the country either. So in short, I get two lessons for the price of one. I am learning to make better images, and learning how to interact with people.

Here is when AGE is an advantage

Now I have my bus pass, I have no problems being perceived as odd or even eccentric - the gray/silver hair can be a great liberator. I have been known to lie on my back to get the angle I wanted of chimney pot or air vent on one a Gaudi's roof tops.

I am thinking the same thing. I have a 30 minute drive to work, and when I feel like leaving early enough in the morning, I will grab my XSi and want to take some sun rise shots. But only if there is no car behind me to see me pull off the side of the road. Of course I don't know what I am worried about, no one has ever stopped when I was in trouble, so I am pretty sure they won't stop now. Now I am shooting barns, but I am always afraid the homeowner is going to come out and yell at me.
