I got the 85 1.8 that I wanted. It was really the replacement lens for the 28-135 that I sold, but I physically received on Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I got the Zuiko 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 E-ED lens from my hubby and played with it a bit this morning. It is an awesome lens!
I also got a book called Camera Raw with Adobe Photoshop CS3 by Bruce Fraser and Jeff Schewe and the Digital Photography book volume 2 by Scott Kelby.

Hope everyone got what they want this Christmas!

Digital Photo Frame, Bamboo Wacom Tablet, light kit (good thing I cxled the one I bought) almost like the one I almost bought except with 2 500 watt bulbs and 2 250 watt bulbs and two umbrellas, Topaz Adjust - I bought myself the tots to teens class. My son "bought" me a bottle of wine...Looking forward to "Christmas" on Sat with the other side of our family...

Do you think we (members of DPS) are easy to buy for or what? LOL

Opteka Battery Grip for my D90. Came with 2 batteries. I actually like it more than the Nikon one.

Early presents for me were a XTI to replace my (then damaged XT), a manfrotto 055XPROB tripod , a Manfrottos 488 ball head, a new 4gb card (that I bought)...and today I got a carrying case for the tripod.....my list was small with the early presents..

Our families "gifts" probably sound boring to most. We decided that we really didn't need anything this year other than each others company and that there are many folks who are in need. We chose to forgo the gift giving to each other and instead donate to a charity or charities of our choice. The idea was to donate at least as much as we would have spent on gifts to each other. So... no new toys or glamorous gifts, but giving is sexy and feels good

Hope everyone is having a really wonderful holiday and that we all have good health and good fortune in the new year!!!!

much like Cuchulainn my gift may also seem totally insignificant. Without going into detail let me just say that even though spread across the globe and in many different countries, I recieved my FAMILY for christmas. Finally reconnected with my dad and have started a new relationship with him. One that was destroyed through the lies and manipulation of my extreemlly controling ex. My children have realized the value of family and my daughter, who is in South Africa for christmas sent me an email today saying that she has learned now the value of family. In essence, my family is now whole and on the path to a better, closer relationship. What an awesome christmas gift!

As for stuff, well I got my wii fit, a state of the art computer with a processor of such new technology that it is not yet available in store bought packages, the fastest available memory and 2.5 TB of hard disk space and the promise of a new lens of my choice when I have finished my latest course. Stuff though just cannot compare to family.

Merry Christmas to you all!
