Out of the blue, I realized that when putting jeans or socks on I always do the left foot/leg first...
then it dawned on me... which eye do I close and which eye do I look through the viewfinder? ![]() well, i close my right eye and use my left... i am right-handed too! what about you? ![]() ciao, camille

I'm right handed, but left eye dominant. Here's some info on eye dominance:

I am definitely right handed/right eye dominant. Which is why I do what they call Mono-vision prescription with contact lenses.
I have the right eye lens corrected for distance, which helps with photography when looking through the view finder and the left eye corrected for reading which helps when looking at the controls, dials etc. Otherwise if I corrected both for distance I would have to use reading glasses when wearing my contacts to read the dials, buttons etc. Took a little getting used to, but I am happy with the solution

Right handed, left eye dominant-The reason for using the left eye,as I was taught, way back in the mists of time, (1950's and 60's)that by doing so you have the whole surface of the forehead to press against with the camera, to keep it steady-but if you use the right eye at the viewfinder, you only have use of half the forehead, and the camera could roll on this. Regards, Ken

Right Handed, Left Eye Dominant I've known this, but the test was really cool.
