Digidave,

How about . . . yokel length: focal length of a really cheap lens?

Or just don't go to bed.

Jiminy, That would make a GREAT T-Shirt - Shutter Bug (or something more original than that ) on the front and all the glossary terms on the back.

private,

They do that here! - www.addictionary.org - [not sure if there's a limit on their number of definitions] I put four of these there.

jiminy, you really need to move this over to games... and then challenge people to come up with examples.

Here is an example of a poortrait my husband took of me. (I swear, I will never laugh out loud again.)

Oh, ShepArt, been there, cursed some. You know, you can use the description for the producer of this work as well: It's such a poortrait to time a shot with these results.

I like the idea of matching examples, good thinking. I'll ask about that.

When I saw the photo download, I told him in no uncertain terms that he was not to save it. I debated for quite some time before posting it. It is just such a great example of your definition.

If it does become a game, no examples of fecal length, please....

I think this would make a great notebook for all those photography tips... nice font, laid out nicely over the cover of a notebook, good for a laugh and reminds you not to take the hobby overly seriously
