Hi! Arnold Zafra here from Manila, Philippines.
Stumbled upon this forum through Darren's DPS blog/site. Actually, I've read about his DPS site over at his main blog but didn't realize that DPS was his until I registered in this forum.

Oh well, I just purchased a Canon EOS 400D and loving every single minute I spent using it. Now, I'm looking to expand my knowledge, learn nifty tricks and hopefully become a good digital photographer.

I'm using both Flickr and Zooomr to store my images, but I maintain a photoblog at http://esqnita.com)

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd introduce myself to the group. My name is Calum and currently live in Inverness, Scotland. It's only recently that I've taken more of an interest in photography and have now got my hands on a Nikon D40. In the short period of time I've been a member here I feel I've learnt a lot, it's a great site. Hopefully I'll be able to make more of a contribution soon.

Cheers,

Calum

Default hola :D

hello my name is Agustin. I'm 17 years old and I'm from Tijuana, México ( a city right on the mexican-american border near San Diego)

My first approach to photography, well probbably was since I was a kid, because my dad's second job is portrait photography. But unfortunately I began getting interested just a year ago.. since then i just began taking my dad's DSLR almost everywhere

One of the cool things about living here is that almost everyday you get to see two different perspectives of everything, including photography. While it may sound obvious but right here you can truly see how the way people understand pictures (and photographers) and how it differs from the culture.

Well that's enough from me

Hope I can get many opinions of my shots(and my english ) from you guys

Agustin Nice to have you join us! How lucky for you to have a dad with a dslr that he lets you use. Can't wait to see some shots of your part of the world. By the way, your English is very good!
