Hello everyone. My name is Brian and I'm from Charlotte, NC, USA. I've been reading articles on DPS for sometime now, but just got around to finally joining the forum. I've been using the digital format since 2000. I shoot freelance and have taken on quite a few different projects over the years, but right now I shoot for a nightlife website local to the area, and do a lot of motorsport and automotive photography for local race teams and show series. I also enjoy landscapes, but haven't had much time lately to shoot them. I hope to meet some new people here, and hopefully learn some new techniques.

Hey there! I just joined today, found DPS a very, very useful place to enhance my 'skills' in photography. Not sure if it's called skills though.
My name is Christine. Call me that, will do. No need for surnames. I do graphic design for a living, but am fully in love with photography (landscape). I own an IXUS. I live in Malaysia, travel around everywhere to take shots sometimes. Hope to learn more from you all! =) |

My name is Vivian and I live in Toronto Canada. I've been lurking around the boards for a few days now taking in all the wisdom and advice. I hope to implement some of the wonderful suggestions and post soon.
I've been a SLR owner for about 1 1/2 years and presently own a Nikon D90 and D40 (actually the D40 came 1st and I wanted more!). I love the challenge of the weekly assignments and hope to improve on this new found hobby of mine.

Hi! My name is Meili. I studied photography in college 5 years ago but never pursued it after I graduated. In school we used film so digital is new to me. I just bought a Canon 50D and am excited about learning how to use it.
I finally posted my first thread today! YAY! I've been receiving the weekly articles but haven't really checked out the forums yet. I just love that there is a place where I can hopefully get my questions answered and to learn from others. |

Hi everyone, name's Tony. I currently live in Amarillo, TX, tho I'm originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. Moved out here a few years back for a better paying job in the aviation industry.
Started in photography back in the 80's when I was in high school, but got out of it after I married, as the film and development costs were too much for a young man just married with a couple of kids... A few years back, I had bought a couple of point and shoot digital cameras, and slowly made my way back into SLR photography...bought a Sony a100 about a year and a half ago, and just recently bought a Sony a300. Always on the lookout for ways to improve my skills, and enjoy my hobby to the fullest ![]() If anyone is interested, my flickr account is linked in my sig...
