Hey everyone, i'm from Dublin in Ireland. Been into photography for a few years now, but gotten more serious over the last two years. I'm also a graphic designer and do a lot of editing in Photoshop, and if I had my dream job it would definitely to be a full time Photoshop artist!!
Anyway, been a member on here since October and drop by occasionally but I'm getting my act together this time : ) Working with a Canon XSi (or 450D), got a 10-22mm, a 50mm 1.4 - both of which I love!! And the kit lens. my flickr page is here!

Hey all :]
So, i'm Lissie. I'm 16 years old and I've been (seriously) photographing for the last year or so. My aunt was a photographer for years (she's now an art teacher.) and all I know is from her and my own personal experiences. I'd love to get to know more people on the site and learn more about photography, as I'd love to eventually become more seriously in it in terms of a possible profession. I live in Canada with my family and my two cats, who you will soon be seeing much of! I use a Nikon D80 with a 55-200mm telephoto zoom lens and an 18-135 wideangle zoom lens. I love all classifications of photography, but am most interested in nature photography. You will, however, see a variety of photos of models (which i've most recently begun dabbling in). I hope to learn much from all you experts

I'm Norma from Tampa, Florida (yorkiemom). I retired early after moving here with my hubby Tim who has his own direct marketing business. I got involved in photography when I got Photoshop Elements 3 way back and joined the PET site about 4 years ago. I'm still learning and have progressed up to CS4 now. Love shooting wildlife and scenery. Hoping to learn some from this site...Tv is my problem. I shoot mostly in manual or Av and always in RAW. I'm a member of the NAPP site also so now I have 2 sites where I can hopefully move upward. This seems like a wonderful site to be a part of. Looking forward to it.
I have a Canon Rebel XT and Canon 40D; IS Lens 17-85, 70-300, prime 50mm, macro f/2.8 and various other gadgets |

My name is Jesse I'm 21 and I hale from Orlando, Florida. I have just gotten in photography as a hobby in the past few weeks and I am enjoying it greatly. Funny thing is that I have been doing photography for Discovery Cove for about 8 months now. I in no way consider myself a professional photographer, I just now how to shoot what I'm paid to shoot (outdoor portrait photography and action shots.) and thats it. I recently bought a camera to try my hand at shotting pics for fun.
. I shoot in RAW most of the time because I love the post production end of photo as well as shooting. I consider myself really good at shooting in shutter priority mode, however I need to work on using aperture priority and manual modes. I'm looking forward to learning more about photography and how to improve my own skills As for my equipment: Nikon D90 18-105mm VR lens My Imagination. Wishlist: Tripod SB-600 |

My name is Rachel and I'm a mom to 3 boys age 4 and under. I LOVE taking pictures but am nowhere near the "photographer" I'd like to be. I've always just had point and shoots until 2 months ago I got my first DSLR. A Nikon D60. I love it so far but I have a lot to learn about the camera and photography in general. My skills have improved greatly over the last few years but I still have a ways to go. I've learned more from DPS in the last couple of months than I have anywhere else!

Hello all!
I am a professional programmer of business applications, and a novice photograper. In the photography realm, my interest and desire to be creative vastly outstrips my skills. I searched "digital photography" on Google and found this site. I came here looking for answers to a specific question (which I will post in the appropriate thread), but it looks like I've stumbled upon the solution to learning to make better use of my new DSLR. This is my first DSLR, by the way. I've had a series of digital point-and-shoots before this, but got tired of waiting for the camera to take the photo while the subject ran away. With a 2-year-old grandson, I've got to have a VERY responsive camera, although my last P&S would have given me the same problem getting a shot of Mt. Rushmore! So, I'm looking forward to learning, and I'll be back often!

A native of Florida, I'm a 30-something mom who loves to photograph my kids and outdoor life. Very much the novice, I am hoping to learn a lot from DPS.
Eventually I'd love to have a DSLR, but for now I'm using a Canon A630.
