Default Your Avatar - why?

Every now and then I see an avatar pop up that makes me laugh, or wonder why they think it represents them. Someone has one of two kids I think, and what appears to be a ferocious looking seal behind them that I think is particularly intriguing! (I had a quick look to find out whose it was but didn't come upon it).

Mine is from my wedding in April, it was taken by someone from a distance. I wasn't posing for it but I was looking at the camera. My hair is sticking to my face from the wind, and I'm kinda curling up my lip as I'm talking to someone. I laughed when I saw it, it's the opposite of what wedding photos are supposed to look like. I like it because it's candid, and I really like candid shots.

How does your avatar represent you?

My avatar is a picture of my screenname, Teewinot, a mountain peak in the Grand Teton range. I was a park ranger there and fell in love with the place.

Had an animated smiley. Since some weeks i have the XTi as avatar.
For the moment it is my major hobby (photos) and i feel
incomplete without my camera. (Thank God for a wife who
accepts to share me with our camera.)

Mine is my eye. I don't like photographs of myself so I thought I would put up my eye.

I've often wondered what people think of my screen name and if they wonder what it means. I thought I would use a avitar that represents it.

Snowdust is what is flying in the air making it hard to see when are not the lead snowmobile on the trail at 60mph

Oops, I just realized I don't have a avitar, It is on flickr
