Mine is of a lonely thrush I took one cold and snowy day. I think it was waiting to be photographed as just after I took it . It flew away. And I love snow sceneries

My avatar is a celtic knot that I designed some time ago when one of my sons was contemplating starting his own business. He never did do it and the logo sat in my computer collecting dust until last winter when I joined this site and saw that most folks were using some sort of avatar. So I dusted off the old design and decided to use it myself.

Mine is a picture of myself.

I chose this one because is the only one where I think I look OK.

I'm also not much into self-portraits. Mine is one of my first decent bird shots. (I'm still trying to figure out just what kind of bird that is. I've never seen it since.)

lol. mine is a self portrait of me and it means I tend to speak my mind often and sometimes too loudly.

I needed something, so I made mine quickly. It's really easy to find scrolling down a screen pretty fast, which was the main point.

Default Celtic Mythology

Mine just fits in with my screen name.

Cuchulainn was an ancient Irish hero from Gaelic Literature. The son of the god Lugh and Deichtine, sister of the king of Ulster, he was originally named Setanta, but gained his better-known name as a child after he killed Culann's fierce guard-dog in self-defence, and offered to take its place until a replacement could be reared.

I won't bore everyone with the entire mythology but Cuchulainn translates to "hound of Culann," thus the graphic.
