Weekly Poll: Do you take more pictures in winter or summer?

Granted, winter is one of the most fantastic times to shoot. The problems incurred with winter shooting for me are insurmountable. First and foremost, living in Southern California, winter clothing is a non-necessity, so, I have very little. Then too, getting to places where the photo ops are exceptional is a problem when one doesn't have vehicles that are equipped for winter travel.
So that is why I opt for summer and spring and maybe a little autumn shooting.

Wow this is an old thread! I voted more in Spring and Summer. I hate the winter months. The whiteout skies just do my head in! The light is really awful too. In Spring summer its much better with blue skies and generally more things to photograph. I still like to shoot in bright sun light but that's just me!

Edited to add: Late summer and autumn are an awesome time to shoot. All those gorgeous browns, golds and sunsets are just great! Winter though sucks apart from snow scenes.

When the weather is warm, I do outside sessions, and when it's winter, I do studio sessions and the occasional outdoor session. Those are pretty brief sessions, though! LOL
